B20 Thruster Qualification Nearing Completion

Our customers value consistency and reliability. The B20 qualification thruster has been getting put through its paces over the last three months, clocking up thousands of burns in preparation for flight, come December.

It is now getting close to the end and we wanted to share some preliminary results. Below is a plot of the last 500 tests of unfiltered data. We are measuring significantly better thrust reliability and timing precision than required. Less than +/-1% variation on peak thrust and better than 10ms timing accuracy.

The result: a thrust curve so repeatable, it almost appears as one.

Consistent thruster performance translates to more precise and predictable maneuvers.

For our customers, that means, getting their satellites to where they need to be faster, and without any doubt that the thruster they have onboard can do the job.
