Mk-0 vehicle: First autonomous flight

Dawn’s Mk-0 vehicle has conducted its first fully-autonomous flight, from roll out to wheels stopped.

With full sensory system integration, the Mk-0 is set to undertake an extensive flight test campaign, aiming to fine tune all avionics and flight control software.

This is preparation for the upcoming addition of Dawn’s 120N reusable rocket engine, forming the Mk-I vehicle. The Mk-I vehicle aims to conduct multiple flights per hour, demonstrating true gas-and-go rocket flight.
